Harana: A Concert of Philippine Romantic Songs
In collaboration with Ilustrado, we’re excited to present Harana: A Concert of Philippine Romantic Songs, to help raise funds for the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Church in Antequera, Bohol, which was heavily damaged by an earthquake in 2013. The Church, designed with a Baroque style façade, is the first concrete church in Bohol, and represents the type of religious structures built during the American colonial period in the Philippines.
Please join us as we celebrate the 125th year of Philippine Independence during Filipino American Heritage Month on Thursday, October 19, 7:00 pm at the Basilica of Saint Patrick’s Old Cathedral, 263 Mulberry Street, New York, NY 10012.

“BUILT HERITAGE AND FIRE” FORUM - AUGUST 11, 2023
BAKÁS PILIPINAS, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ASEP), and ICOMOS/Philippines, helped organize this Webinar on “BUILT HERITAGE and FIRE”, to be held on August 11, 2023.
Fire is one of the greatest threats to our heritage. In the wake of the recent fire of our beloved Main Post Office in Manila, this topic is very important for stewards of heritage buildings and engineers and architects in the Philippines who will be assigned to rehabilitate them after the fire.
